The Coffee Club, Subang Parade

Went to this shop and try their coffee today. I did not take the picture of the coffee, because my cappuccino did not come with a coffee art. LOL. My cup of hot Cappuccino is good. Their concept is something like Antipodean Cafe.

Tiramisu Cake RM13.90
Normal Normal only.

The Big Breakfast RM29.90
Not bad, but a bit pricey.

Below are the menus from this shop.

I am writing to complain about the unacceptable treatment that I received from The Coffee Club, Subang Parade, Malaysia last Sunday, 13th July 2014 when I was intended to have lunch with my mother and my friend. During the visit we had a poor experience.
We arrived at about 12:30 PM. We do understand that this is a busy time but there we were not told properly where the waiting area is. One of the waitress (Chinese, long hair woman, very likely she is the supervisor as she is doing nothing nor serving the customer but just standing in the restaurant) speaking with good Australia accent English, but seemed to be annoyed. She did not smile or say anything friendly; we thought maybe she was just having a bad day. However when I am trying to ask if we can sit in one of the table since it is not occupied she responded in extremely rude manner saying: “Please wait at the waiting area, today is a very busy day for us and it is full house. There is no point going out there and trying to get a table for youself”.
To make matters worse, we ordered a cup of flat white and a cup of Mellocinno. We can’t smell or taste the aroma of the coffee bean. It is almost tasteless. From the menu, I understand that the flat white is filled with rich, full flavour of The Coffee Club's Signature Blend espresso and topped with textured milk; same goes with the Mellocinno. Well I guess it is just over-rated.
I am deeply disappointed with The Coffee Club Malaysia customer service. We choose to visit the restaurant due to good reputation of the coffee chain in Australia. We went to the restaurant that afternoon with high expectations. Not only were the expectations not exceeded, they were not met. Their below missins is definitely not achieved:
• Good Food, Great Service & Excellent Coffee
• A welcoming relaxed meeting place enriching contemporary lifestyle
• The answer to "Where will I meet you?"
